«Introducing technology available to the enthousiast. PCB design & assembly»

First meeting to find out what people would like to learn and who is willing to teach us. For example:

  • working with SMD components. it opened my eyes when Johannes showed up with a small cheap booklet that holds +-4000 SMD resistors and capacitators. it's not impossible for the amateur, and a big improvement
  • Arduino/Raspberry Pi interfaces. SPI, one wire protocol,...
  • where to buy parts? Gotron is expensive, Farnell is cool, Asian Ebay is dirt cheap
  • perfboard assembly: tips, tricks, best practices,.... I know there's a lot to learn, even with a Bachelor degree in electronics I've made a lot of shitty prototype boards- is there a reasonable way to etch a PCB at home? it does not have to be high-tech multi-layer, but would it be an improvement over the prototype boards?
